Check out some of the highlights from our events and WHM Initiatives.
Women’s Works-Quick Bite Facts about Amazing women who have paved the way for others. Narrated by our students in elementary and middle school! original animation graphic opening by jr teaching artist elizabeth diaz.
Kicking off WHM with a great lesson plan example activity. Staff were asked to imagine a table where influential women in their life were in conversation with one another. It was so wonderful to get to hear staff speak about the women who have shaped their lives.
The Break Room-This month our break room series provided a space for women identifying out of school educators to gather, chat, and take a moment for some self-care.
Check out some of the highlights and do the activity practice if you’d like. Thank you to our art therapy team for helping to make this space happen!

closing out our whm celebrations was our a&L vZ playlist competition.
this month we had two teams-native New Yorkers and newbie New Yorkers go head to head to pick the best playlist of strong, talented women music artists.
